Reverted to a cartoon style, loose brush strokes, changed the nib on my stylus, and out pops a few peices of art i really like. Was getting a tad low on estemm but looked to how artists i admired applies their trade.

Stick to the basics and do them well!

Have not got much time to post this but i just want to mention a guy who has dedicated time and effort to pay tribute to art he likes. Simple. Not very many people pay tribute in this way, taking time not only to post other peoples art but to also write up an in depth review on each piece.

I spend hours painting a caricature, post it up, within 24 secons to twats decide to post rude comments. I visit their galleries respectively, find out the are only capable of producing low grade art, and comment accordingly.

Why? Why go out of your way to insult someones art. If you don't like it, move along, ignore it, but don't insult people like me. I give positive coments to art that isn't perfect but i can see the potential. sometomes, when i make these nice comments, these people return and sometimes critique my work. Mmmm....

Just when i think i will give this shite up and forget it all i do a caricature and things light up again. I don't usually post my art on Toonpool these days but when i posted my Paris, i received a lot of likes and also Toonpool featured one of my caricatures on it's main page for a day.

It would seem that it's worth keeping at it and see what happens next???

Changes are a comin'. I have realised that i love lineart, love textures, and love to draw more than just a head and neck.
I have probably been guilty of falling into the mimic your heroes trap in the last couple of years.

Well, no more. Like it or hate it, i'm going to do more of the art i started out doing and enjoyed so much more.

Beware of a user callec Carravaggio . He makes horrid little comments about your art, then blocks you so you can't reply. How cowardly and sad? Also, his art is really bad and he calls himself a pro. Oh dear.

What the hell has happened to my avatar???

For the last month i have suffred with a bad back. Numerous visits to the doctors, lots of medication and pain. Struggled to produce anything i would call good. Completed some today i thought were worthy, i also deleted some crap from my gallery. Well, you live and learn. I think i'm thinking straighter now and only managed to peeve Wade off. I think he has forgiven me. Ciao for now and a thousand thankies for all who comment and fave and stuff

I'm sure i'm not the only one who gets like this. Feel like my work is substandard and stagnent, pointless, and without an upward direction. Have all the hours been worth it? Will i get there before i die? Will my art be remebered? Why didn't i start my artwork before i was 30 which is making me play catch-up forever?
I'm virtually blind in one eye, left handed, work in a factory, and never sketch.....lazy? Stupid? Maybe. Lost? For sure.

Can anyone tell me why i have a Snowman symbol next to my name????
